Competition for the best architectural and Urban plan solution of Block 24, of New Belgrade was held in 1983. At that time the topic of classical city matrix and city block complex development it was still highly odd and strange for the Yugoslav public.

Because of these traditional and conventional standards, the work presented by authors -architect Marin Kresic and architect Vesna Stefanovic, could not attain nothing more then a prize assigned to the authors beyond conditions of the competition, in other words, special prize and acknowledgment for the concept but without the obligation of the investor to put this urban plan in realization.

Main emphasis and accent of this architectural and urban plan, was on measurement of blocks in the city block, on curved streets, walking distances, contents of the ground floors and urban architecture development were houses and residential buildings were to be designed by two or more architects and authors instead of only one as it was conventional at the time.
