Study of Typical City Zones in Belgrade or “TCZ” was prepared in 1982 as part of complex and in-depth preparations for new GUP of Belgrade. At the time we all thought that this will work eventually, but now we know that various city managements that came to power over all this years did not show any interest for development of this project and to this date development of Belgrade is still on hold.

Fifteen years ago, back in 1982 suggestions that this study was pointing out were theoretical innovation – with important conclusion for development of Belgrade: that different city zones should have different and unique urban concepts based on individual and specific urban standards; specific morphology of the location, found condition of the location as well as the time when this city zones were formed and constructed.
