1. Organizer of the contest is Radio amateur club “SMEDEREVO” YU1EMN, celebrating 55 anniversary.
   
   
2. The name of the contest is ”SMEDEREVO 55”
   
   
3. Contest is held first weekend of June (04/05.06.2005.)
   
   
4. Contest starts at Saturday at 14:00 UTC and last`s until Sunday at 14:00 UTC (24h)
   
   
5. All licensed radio amateurs may participate in the contest, in accordance with the provisions of their operation permits and legislation of their countries.
   
   
6. The contest takes place at VHF band.
   
   
7. Contest is organized for the following categories:
   A. 144MHz – more operator`s
   B. 144MHz – one operator
   C. 145MHz FM - one operator
   D. 144MHz – operators outside SCG
   
   
8. Modes allowed: A1A, J3E and F3E according to IARU Region I bands plan.
   
   
9. In the contest competitors exchange the following data:
   • RS(T)
   • QSO number, progressive serial number starting with 001
   • universal WW QTH locator.
   
   
10. Points will be scored on the basis of one point per QRB kilometer.
    
    
11. Each station can be worked only once regardless on the type of emission.
    
    
12. Contacts made via active repeaters, satellites, EME or contacts made with mixed type of emissions shall not count for points.
    
    
13. Any error in information logged by participating station will render the contact unaccountable for points.
    
    
14. Possible duplicate contacts must be clearly marked as such in the log and without claim for points.
    
    
15. Stations will be disqualified for more than 5% points deducted from the final score because of
    • errors in logged information,
    • errors in calculation of QRB
    • duplicate contacts
    
    
16. The log sheets and cover sheet shall be send to the contest commission not lather than 15 DAYS after the completion of the contest (postal stamp counts). Stations that send the logs after that time will not be included in the placing.
    
    
17. The log sheets shall have following information:
    • date and UTC time,
    • call sign of the station worked,
    • Band
    • type of emission,
    • report sent and received and serial number,
    • universal WW QTH locator of the station worked,
    • QRB and number of points claimed.
    
    
18. The cover sheet must contain:
    • Name and date of contest
    • call sign of the participant,
    • first and last name or the title of the participant,
    • mailing address of permanent location and e-mail address,
    • category of participation,
    • WW QTH locator of the location of operation the name of location and its altitude,
    • data about radio equipment and antennas used in the contest,
    • names and call signs of all operators working, the number of valid contacts, the number of points,
    • the statement about obeying these rules and HAM SPIRIT signed by first operator.
    
    
19. Unofficial results will be announced 10 days after the end of deadline for receiving the logs.
    
    
20. Official results will be announced not later than 60 days after the unofficial results.
    
    
21. Results will be announced in all official resources of SRS.
    
    
22. Prizes and diplomas will be awarded for first, second and third place. Only diplomas for fourth and fifth place. QSL cards will be sent to all of those who made contact with operators from Smederevo during the competition.
    
    
23. Competitor`s committee has tree members and the president is Paunovic Nikola, YU1GT.
