The Danube sajka (the bigger model) has been made according to an old museum plan. Most frequent it sailed along the rivers around Novi Sad.
Sajka is a river warship that was used on the Black sea-basin, rivers (first of all on Danube and Tisa). At the mouth of these two rivers there is a place called "Titel" and a region "Sajkaska" well known for excellent ships ("sajkas") and it's crews. The period of the most frequent usage of sajkas was between XV-XIX century as impermeable wall for Turkish break through to the north and west.
