Mileta Postic was born on May 5th, 1970 in Novi sad, Yugoslavia.  He graduated from highschool in Columbia, S.C. , U.S.A. in 1988.  He graduated with honors from University of South Carolina in Columbia on May 1995. majoring in Fine Arts and concentrating in Drawing. Received a scholarship and several awards.  
  

After graduating, Mileta Postic spent a year in Chicago working as a teaching assistant in graphic design and animation at Columbia College.    

Upon his return to Novi Sad, November 1996., he starts a graduate school in Architecture at the University of Novi Sad and teaches drawing at the same school. In May 1997. he opens up a private school for drawing.    

Starting in Summer 1994. Mileta Postic made four series of painting, two being sold in U.S.A.  In September 1998, he starts an M.A. program in Painting at University of Portsmouth, U.K.
